There’s something undeniably magical about an engagement session Washington Oaks Gardens State Park. The ancient oaks, the soft rustle of Spanish moss, and the peaceful hush of the gardens create a storybook setting for any session. But when you add in Chelsey & Brandon’s natural connection and love for adventure? Magic.
We started their engagement session at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park tucked beneath the towering trees of the gardens, where the light filtered through the leaves just right. From the moment they stepped in front of my lens, they were playful, connected, and completely in tune with each other. The way they held hands, exchanged little glances, and laughed through the quiet moments—it’s the kind of love you can feel just by looking at the photos.
From Forest Trails to Ocean Breezes
After exploring the lush greenery, we ended the session with sandy toes and ocean views on the beach side of Washington Oaks State Park. The sky lit up with the softest pastels as the sun dipped below the horizon—an unforgettable way to wrap up a chapter of their love story.
Barefoot, wrapped in the colors of sunset, Chelsey and Brandon walked along the shore with ease. Their energy was light, their love grounded. These are the moments I live to capture—the in-between, the natural, the real.
