Where the River Meets the Ocean
Jacksonville weddings feel expansive.
Open skies over the St Johns River. Ocean breeze rolling across the dunes. Downtown skylines glowing at sunset. Grand southern estates tucked beneath wide oak trees.
As a Jacksonville wedding photographer, I document celebrations with vibrant color, intentional direction, and emotion that feels real and unforced. Structured when it needs to be. Movement when it matters. Always grounded in connection.
If you’re planning a Jacksonville wedding and want imagery that feels elevated but still full of life, you’re in the right place.
Jacksonville light shifts quickly. River reflections. Ocean haze. Bright open lawns.
I use architecture and horizon lines to create balance.
I guide posture and movement without over posing.
I protect skin tones in strong coastal sun.
Jacksonville offers variety in the best way. Waterfront venues. Historic mansions. Modern industrial spaces. Coastal resorts.
I photograph weddings at venues like:
Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club
The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island
The Treasury on the Plaza
The Ribault Club
The Glass Factory
Whether you’re planning a formal yacht club celebration, a beachfront ceremony, or a downtown reception with skyline views, Jacksonville gives your wedding visual depth.
My role is to shape that depth into intentional storytelling.
Your gallery will include:
• Clean ceremony compositions
• Romantic couple portraits along the water
• Rich, true to life color
• Emotional candids woven through the structure
• High energy reception imagery
Jacksonville weddings feel both relaxed and powerful. That’s exactly how your images should feel too.
I believe your story is told best in the real stuff. The in between glances. The tight hand squeezes. The way your people look at you when you are not even paying attention. I photograph weddings in a documentary way that feels honest and full of life, layered with an editorial touch that keeps everything elevated and beautiful.
I’ll step in with direction when you need it. I’ll step back when you don’t. You will never feel stiff or overly posed, just supported, comfortable, and completely seen.
Your wedding isn’t one size fits all. The way you celebrate, the people you surround yourself with, the pace of your day it all matters. That’s why my collections are designed with room to breathe, giving you exactly what you need for a smooth, joy filled experience from start to finish.

Coastal, Southern, or Modern
Jacksonville weddings often fall into three beautiful directions.
Coastal and airy along the beaches.
Southern and romantic beneath oak canopies.
Modern and industrial downtown.
Each environment changes how I approach your portraits. Beach weddings require movement and wind awareness. Estate weddings lean into symmetry and architecture. Industrial venues allow for bold flash and dramatic reception coverage.
Most Jacksonville couples book 8 hours of coverage. Larger waterfront or Amelia Island celebrations often extend to 9 or 10 to fully capture sunset portraits and reception energy.
Because the best moments often happen after dark.
Sunset at Jacksonville Beach.
Downtown skyline views.
Tree lined parks along the river.
Golden light at Big Talbot Island.
We build comfort and connection during your session so wedding day portraits feel effortless.
Movement first. Emotion always. Structure when it elevates the moment.

DO YOU TRAVEL THROUGHOUT FLORIDA FOR WEDDINGS
Yes. I photograph weddings all across Florida, including Gainesville, Orlando, St. Augustine, Jacksonville, Tampa, and coastal destinations. Travel within Florida is always welcome.
WHAT IS YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?
My style blends documentary storytelling with gentle guidance. I focus on emotion, connection, and honest moments rather than stiff posing or forced perfection.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK OUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
Most couples book 9–15 months in advance, especially for peak Florida wedding seasons. If your date is sooner, I’m always happy to check availability.
DO YOU OFFER ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS WITH YOUR WEDDING COLLECTIONS?
Yes. Engagement sessions are included in most wedding collections and are a wonderful way for us to connect before the wedding day.
DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL FEES FOR WEDDINGS IN FLORIDA?
I do not charge any travel fees for weddings that take place in Florida. Inquire about destination weddings out of state or international weddings.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
You will receive a wedding preview of 50 to 100 images on Facebook within 72 hours. I will upload those images to your gallery and send it via email so you can download the preview for yourself. The rest of your gallery will be delivered within 85 weekdays.
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU FOR OUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
I will create a custom booking link for you to complete. It will contain a contract, couple questionnaire, and invoice for retainer. The retainer is 30% of your wedding package and the remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding. Payment plans are available.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE MY WEDDING?
If you need to cancel your wedding a wedding cancellation contract will need to be signed by both parties. The retainer is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, I will make every effort to be available on your new date. If I am already booked, I will send associate photographers from my team on your wedding day. I will still complete all the editing of your gallery.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
You will receive a minimum of 50 to 65 images per hour of coverage. This will vary depending upon wedding coverage, wedding moments, and reception events.
WHO DO YOU RECOMMEND THAT I PRINT THROUGH YOU?
I recommend printing through professional labs such as mpix, bayphotos, and Miller's professional images.
WHAT TIME SHOULD WE SCHEDULE OUR CEREMONY FOR?
Pay attention to where the sun is at your ceremony location. Look at when sunset is for that day and if daylight savings time plays a role for your wedding day.
- Emma Carter & Jack Reynolds
“From the moment we first connected, Nikki made us feel seen, heard, and valued. She didn’t just capture our wedding day; She captured us. Every little detail, every stolen glance, every burst of laughter — all the moments we didn't even realize were happening. When we look through our photos, we don’t just see images, we feel the joy, the love, the electricity of that day all over again."
- Zoe Harrison & Max Walker
"She was prepared for anything — rain, wind, unexpected changes — and her excitement was infectious. Our photos are beyond breathtaking; they feel alive. Each one takes us right back to that cliffside, feeling the wind in our hair and the love in our hearts. If you’re looking for someone who will go above and beyond to tell your love story, look no further."
- Ava Brooks & Noah Bennett
"From our first meeting, she put us at ease with her warm personality and genuine passion for storytelling. On our elopement day, she was right there in the moment with us, guiding us when we needed it and fading into the background when we wanted to soak in the experience. The result? Stunning photos that are raw, real, and impossibly beautiful."
