An engagement session is a relaxed photography experience that documents this season of your relationship before your wedding day. It’s less about posing and more about connection — capturing how it feels to be together right now.
DO WE NEED ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS IF WE ALREADY HAVE A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
Engagement sessions are a beautiful complement to wedding photography. They allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera, build trust, and create images that reflect your relationship outside of the wedding day timeline.
WHERE DO ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS TAKE PLACE IN FLORIDA?
Engagement sessions take place throughout Florida, including natural outdoor locations, waterfront settings, gardens, and meaningful personal spots. Location guidance is always provided to help choose a place that feels right for you.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR FOR ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS?
Comfort and coordination matter more than matching. Neutral tones, soft textures, and clothing you can move in photograph beautifully. Styling guidance is always included to help you feel confident and prepared.
DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL FEES FOR ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS IN FLORIDA?
I do not charge any travel fees for weddings or engagement photos that take place in Florida. Inquire about destination engagement photos out of state or international weddings.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
You will receive an engagement photo preview of 10 to 15 images on Facebook within 72 hours. I will upload those images to your gallery and send it via email so you can download the preview for yourself. The rest of your gallery will be delivered within 21 weekdays.
WE'RE AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. IS THAT OKAY?
Absolutely. Most couples feel this way. Engagement sessions are guided gently, with prompts and movement that allow natural moments to unfold without pressure or forced posing.
CAN WE BRING OUR DOG, PET, OR SOMETHING PERSONAL?
Yes. Engagement sessions are about telling your story. Pets, meaningful locations, or personal details are always welcome and encouraged if they reflect your relationship.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
You will receive a minimum of 50 to 75 engagement photos form your session. This will vary depending upon wardrobe changes, location(s), etc.
WHEN SHOULD WE SCHEDULE OUR ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS?
Many couples schedule engagement sessions 6–12 months before their wedding, but there’s no wrong time. Sessions can also be scheduled closer to your date or simply to document this season together.
DO YOU HELP US CHOOSE A LOCATION AND TIME OF DAY?
Yes. Location selection and timing guidance are part of the experience. Golden hour is often recommended for soft, flattering light, but the best choice depends on your vision and location.
